Thanks Superaintit! Sounds like solid advice. I've always loved the sound of the Solo Neo, so perhaps the Lyric would be too much of a change. I'll try and get a listen asap.

I have Epos M5 speakers, which have suited my Solo Neo very well.

It's in Creative Audio in Shrewsbury at £1599. I've dealt with them before and they're very helpful.

Thanks manicm. I'm drawn to the Solo by it's hdmi inputs, as I have a computer, appletv and tv to plug in, but wondering if the Cyrus might be more enjoyable in the long run. Internet radio is not an issue for me.

I'm changing my Solo Neo for a new all-in-one and have decided to get one of these two. I have the chance to buy the Cyrus for just £100 more than the Arcam. Any advice on which I should go for please?

Have a pair running through an Arcam Solo. I love them - they are not too dominant in my smallish lounge and the sound is lively and detailed, if a little warm through the Solo. Would certainly recommend them.

When I play CD-Rs on my Solo I usually get a glitch in the first few minutes, but then it plays OK.
