I don‘t know if anyone else has this issue, but the slightest movement causes mine to ’detach’, meaning it has to be unplugged and re-inserted. It’s becoming very frustrating and makes it almost useless as an ‘on the go’ DAC. The sound is great on my B&W P9s...as long as I move *very* slowly.

Richersounds now do repairs. My C370 went and it was about 75 inc vat to have it repaired (think it was the caps). You take it in via the Local Store. There is one in MK I think. ONny thing is it didn't have the white 3-pin plug adapter when it came back.

I ripped about 2.5k odd cds. It took a spare PC with 2 dvd/cd drives plonked next to me in the lounge and a significant amount of time. Used dbpoweramp to rip to flac, then used the converter to convert to alac, mp3 etc. Benefit of using dbpoweramp for me is the artwork gets tagged correctly...

Probably nothing you can do. The RF out is always going to be lesser quality than other connections (I assume if just a sky+ box you use scart). The picture is likley to both blur and look a bit washed out in my experience.

Have you checked your box is compatible? I have the old Thompson and it cannot do anytime +. No insult meant, just sometimes it is that simple.
