If the request is genuine, then you'll need to think about things beyond which brands to choose from. As a starter: what will your source be? Do you already have music on physical media (CDs, vinyl), will you stream, will you listen to multiple formats?

Yeah - I "upgraded" from a WiiM Mini to a Node ICON a few months ago and found no discernible impact in the change of platform. They both just work either in the app themselves or as "Connect" options from a streaming service.

Just picked this one up. 32 years old this Autumn 😬🤷🤦‍♂️ I actually prefer this to Ten, which itself is a heck of an album.

Only a second or third playthough of this 2025 Record Store Day buy. Really nice version of 'Break Me' at the end.

These guys had a new album out at the end of June and are well worth a listen if you like a bit of a genre mash-up. It's a (mostly) instrumental UK trio on piano, drums and bass who lean into jazz, classical, electronica and almost trip-hop. Very ambient and cool, especially through headphones...

It depends 😇 I've answered streaming as that's usually the fastest option, but fast isn't necessarily best. I'd say our listening at home is 60% streaming and 40% vinyl.
