    BI-WIRE Doubt [ROTEL RA-12 + KEF Q300]

Hi Taitai! Feel free, man! :) Man, I got really happy listening this combination, and that made me buy them. I was looking for ROTEL RA-12 to amp the B&W 685's. I felt that the KEF Q300's sounded much more robust and the voice is very clear, very defined. I found 685's too much bright and they...

    BI-WIRE Doubt [ROTEL RA-12 + KEF Q300]

Thank you, Thompson! well, if I choose A+B speakers, I need to run one pair of cables more, because my integrated the way I installed now is single wired, using "SPEAKER A" left channel for my left speaker, and "SPEAKER A" right channel for my right speaker... I may try bi-amping them, but I...

    BI-WIRE Doubt [ROTEL RA-12 + KEF Q300]

Hi Bodfish, thanks for your answer! Well, I think ROTEL RA-12 has 4 channels, it has 2 left channels and 2 right channels... take a look on its backpannel http://i1206.photobucket.com/albums/bb452/solomusica2008/RotelRA12REAR.jpg Am I right? If I choose in the frontpanel speakers "A+B" ALL...

    BI-WIRE Doubt [ROTEL RA-12 + KEF Q300]

Yes, I believe so, but I really meant "bi-amplifying" the Q300's, not bi-wiring. By the way, I had a listen on the LS50's, I can ensure that the extra budget to get them, won't give you SUCH extra improovement in sound.

    BI-WIRE Doubt [ROTEL RA-12 + KEF Q300]

Thanks for the answer! (by the way, how can I receive the replies on my email? that's why I tool so long to answer here) Can you brief me about Bi-Amplifying then? because I'm pretty sure ROTEL RA-12 can do it... it has 4 pairs of connectors, I mean, I can use in my Left speaker the output...

    BI-WIRE Doubt [ROTEL RA-12 + KEF Q300]

Good night guys, I got a question about bi-wired systems... I've read much about this but it is really really really "up to" the listener's taste.. I couldn't have any good positioning about other's opinions... What the difference is all about between single and bi-wired? Well, now I have a...

Ripping FLAC - Does the Hardware make difference?

Oh, I made a mistake... hehe.. that's exactly what I meant! Using a CD-Rom, not a CD-Player! sorry. So you mean that I can buy any CD-Rom I want? Even those ones that are external? Thanks a lot!

Which speaker for a 2.0 hi-fi system? [KEF or B&W]

Yes, I head ROTEL RA-12 and that's why I got it, I felt it has property to run the KEF's (in my opinion it was better matched than with LS50s! for the price it DOESN'T justify!) My room is around 30m³, I think even in the audition room with 40m³ it sounded so good and mature!

Ripping FLAC - Does the Hardware make difference?

Good Night Everybody! I have a question on this issue.. My idea is to make my favourite CD's, at first, to become available in my network so I can play the tracks from it.. also wirelessly. I'm looking into this topic because I know I have bad and good ways to rip as FLAC, and the good way is...

Which speaker for a 2.0 hi-fi system? [KEF or B&W]

Thank you for your reply, Manicm! It was very helpful, but I forgot to answer you back :) You were completely right about the overbudget I'd spend, B&W 685s are great and have nice sound! I felt in love for the KEF's Q300, I found them more pleasant on the high's, and on the bass I loved...

Which speaker for a 2.0 hi-fi system? [KEF or B&W]

Hi everybody! First, Happy 2013 for everybody!! I've being reading tons of reviews from many different websites, I need to highlight my special affection for "What Hi-Fi" between them all! My topic regards the system I want to build, it's a 2.0 one. I think I'm pretty sure about the...
