I never really got to the bottom of the problem,Kef very kindly sent me two replacement speakers,which I fitted and they have been working fine ever since.The location they were in didn't get any direct sunlight, and they are now in a new room where there isn't any sunlight at all🙏🤞

Just a final update to the saga,have purchased a Project Step Up S3 transformer, it's now connected to my Clearaudio Concept Turntable with Hana ml cartridge and Musical Fidelity mx vynl preamp and into Vincent sv-237mk amp. Sound is excellent much improved on original set-up. Volume level...

Fitted the 2M Black cartridge on the Musical Fidelity mx vynl, absolutely excellent, volume knob right down and super smooth sound ,another great result 👍

Thanks Al,huge improvement on the Arcam,hana so much more dynamic,convinced problem resolved. Big lesson learned, going to set up the Musical Fidelity mx vynl with either Ortofon 540mk2 or 2m black,so nothing lost,really grateful for your knowledge, hope this will solve the tweeter problem also...

Will try the Vincent and report,selling equipment over here is a non starter, so many scam buyers ,simply wouldn't risk it

You would think it would give more flexibility for 800 euros. It's one Whathifi recommendation that doesn't live up to expectations Would i be better connecting it to the Vincent ph701, do you think this could be part of the tweeters problem...

I've set it to 100ohm as per hana manual and numerous recommendations from other users of hana ml

RIAA seems to make no difference at all. It's no more noisy than an AB switch on my other Pioneer Reference Amp

Does this mean that the Musical Fidelity mx vynl recommended by whathifi mag is not up to it or is faulty as that is not the case,when for instance I have it connected to a hana ml or an Ortofon 2m Black.With the Hana I definitely have to increase the volume .
