I got the Opps PM-3. I had them about two months now. They work very well with my Arcam A19, they are not as warm sound as my old Philips X1 headphones. The Opps PM-3 are balance sound, and work well with all my music.
Big thanks for review. One thing I need is balance control for left & right speakers, due to my old age. I been thinking about getting Yamaha music cast WXA50, which I know has balance control. But no headphone socket :( .
I too have the denon 720AE. It got still got few goods things going for it. Like FM tuner, it has a Display that you can read from a sitting down distance. Also a remote control.
Got some new cables for xmas. So I have to wait for xmas morning. My new toys, are, Atlas Equator MKIII Audio Interconnect and QED Reference XT40 Speaker Cable. Three sleeps to go.
I have my PS4 link up to my naim unitiqute, no problems at all. Also from time to time, I link it up to my Arcam dac, through Arcam A19, as before no problems.
I too have Focal 905 speakers, can't fault them. As you say Detailed, bass without boom, warm. But do not understand sharp. But I do think they are bit on the big size.
If your living room is a bit on the small size, I would say get dynaudio 2/6. As the 2/7, may have to much bass. I heard the 2/6 with cyrus, two years ago. To me they work. B&W with cyrus, may be a bit bright.
I too, have the same issue. So today, I change "system code select menu" from 16 to 12. I going to see how this works. As I herd, that the philips, remote, can lock the a19 down. Also, I have sent a email to superfi.
