Thanks for the speedy reply John. My amp predates HDMI so I will get myself an optical cable. VERY impressed with ATV although only had it connected for an hour.

What is the best method of connecting the ATV to my amp? Optical or analog? Where does the D/A conversion take place? If the ATV has D/A conversion will it be better than my Sony amp? Thanks.

I have just received this model after buying my Philips 42" 9664 tv, it was free Does anyone know how it compares to my Sony BDPS760? Info on the web seems pretty scarce. I presume its a new model. Should I risk unpacking it to test or leave it boxed to sell on?

Sorted!! Updated my router software and did some blind fiddling in windows and now it works. Interestingly I contacted Philips who said the tv did not support WMP 12...... funny old world innit.

I'm starting to think it may be that Andrew as the manual mentions WMP 11 and I'm running 12. If so then hopefully the next software upgrade will sort it.

I'm having exactly the same problem. I can browse my Vista based laptop but not my main Win7 PC. Most annoying.
