There are various width and depth measurements posted by people on Amazon - very unhelpful! I'm guessing that 795mm wide and 319mm deep is sensible for the size of TV so going to work with that. I'm surprised no one on this forum with this TV has posted here..

Thanks for the suggestion and replies Bigboss - the platform to raise the TV might be an option. Sorry if I didn't make myself clear in explaining. I'm trying to figure out the width of the crescent to see if it is wider than the width of the Beam so I could almost slot the Beam into the space...

No easy answer to this one, apart from I'd stress a demo at a good independant HiFi retailer to initially narrow down the speakers/equipment you like, and then maybe a home demo for a short period (few days) to make sure it all works in your room. There are too many variables to say what will...

I think the term 'HiFi' has been warped over the past few years. To me it used to mean reproducing music at such a level that it sounded like the original artist/instruments were in the room playing for you. But thesedays any old speaker dock/bluetooth system will claim to produce 'HiFi sound'...
