The biggest difference is that there is no one checking the discs before they are packed.
Often they still have release agent in the groves. And I have had coloured and black that have had surface defects. Not to mention off center labels.
Picture discs tend to have had the worse sound...

For people with cassette player’s cassettes are a lower cost option to other formats.
Just bought another NAD T585 as mine has again got issues. Cost less than the value of one of my SACD discs. No remote but not an issue. Wrong colour but I have a correct colour case….
Pioneer head unit. A mix of vibe and pioneer speakers, vibe amp and a couple of amps. Oh and a fold down TV/dvd.
Well it is a small van/camper and daily.

I would beg to differ. We have been asking BluOS to intergrate Sounds for 6 years. They said they were an approve source for the BBC. What they did is farm it out to Tunein. Now BBC have decided to separate their streams to sounds for the uk and about 4 weeks out of the uk for sounds users. And...
