That's pretty awesome. I have some Bose QC20is that I used regularly before changing phones. There was some bulk there with the actual noise cancelling module. The idea of a DAC is very tempting though!

In that case, out of the three you mentioned, I'd go for the Marshall ANC. I have a feeling they look even better in person, and they're a pretty great buy for the performance (if you don't mind the fact that they're slightly above your stated budget).

From what I'm reading, the bass isn't something that blows you away on the 535s either. The N40 works well, particularly with the DAC you've got. Curious, as someone who hasn't done that on a phone, what's it like using the Dragonfly on your iPhone? Is the added bulk inconvenient to any degree?

As far as the speakers, it doesn't seem like much has been done to 3050i over that span. If possible, I'd see if you can test them out in store or something, just to see if you can detect a difference in quality of any kind.

I'd say the WH-H900N is your best bet. The tech and features are close enough to their higher-end model at a much more approachable price. I'm strongly considering grabbing those this week, actually. Need some new cans myself!

Wouldn't be surprised. They're still sort of in the relatively early days of their brand-building. If they were looking to make a change, anything you'd be looking for in particular?
