No, the eARC is going to return audio from the TV to the Node. If you want to do Tidal etc to the TV, then connect an Apple TV to the Node via HDMI. There used to be Tidal TV apps, but support has been ditched except LG - I think.

You'd have to find replacement ICs, the SU-V4X actually lasted us about 19 years, by which time Panasonic here had long gone by 2004, and we gave up after one 3rd party repair attempt.

We had the earlier superb sounding SU-V5 (1982 release). Which got stolen 2 years later, and then replaced it with its equivalent replacement, even better sounding SU-V4X (1985 release).

Important to note these are active speakers too - although only one needs to be plugged in for power, each speaker has its own amplification built-in.
