Yes, but that software in Eversolo may be a bit faulty.

It's not odd to me, and it's just their opinion to that the end user won't have enough knowledge to implement it properly. Also, by several reviews I've read of Dirac's latest variant - Dirac Art, is that although they don't explicitly market it as such, these reviews have suggested it's best...

https://www.whathifi.com/hi-fi/digital-equipment-with-a-range-of-tweaking-options-may-seem-like-a-good-idea-but-im-not-convinced Also interesting to note, Advance Paris's forthcoming flagship amps will have room correction capability - but they're deliberately not providing the software...

Question How will AI help improve HiFi design?

Get rid of dumb, inaccurate microphone based room correction, and use optical based room correction which accurately visualizes the room, using sonar or lidar technology.

Review DAC comparison. Cheap vs expensive (14 test tracks)

As always, you get what you pay for. That DACs are DACs argument doesn't wash. DACs within an integrated amp cause far less noise than a phono stage.

    John Lodge RIP

He was a hugely underrated bass player.

    Paramore

Check out their 2016 album After Laughter, it's brilliant.

Side By Side Comparison Naim v Lyngdorf

As the OP said later, the dealer did the Lyngdorf RoomPerfect correction. And he did state it sounded better with it calibrated. And he still preferred the Naim. In your mind the Naim could not be better? Perhaps you should audition for yourself too, since you can't seem to believe what you read.

Side By Side Comparison Naim v Lyngdorf

You're a dealer, I would expect you to have more knowledge than me. I will repeat 2 facts again. In the manual, Lyngdorf explicitly and strongly recommends the user to run the built-in, free room correction system. The Naim does not have any room correction facility. So, in your esteemed...

    Adding Spotify Lossless to Amp

All that says is that you're using the Spotify Lossless option. Airplay does not do lossless however. Airplay is just being seen as a device by Spotify to stream to. Come on! Common sense should tell you that.

Side By Side Comparison Naim v Lyngdorf

Lyngdorf insist you employ their room correction feature when setting up. The Naim simply does not have such a facility, so his appraisal is valid and intact in my view. Or I'm not getting you at all.

    Adding Spotify Lossless to Amp

No, Airplay 2 is not lossless, and behind the scenes it will adapt the bitrate to what it thinks is optimum depending on your network. Trying to stream anything lossless over Airplay is a fool's errand.

    Adding Spotify Lossless to Amp

NOTHING is lossless over Airplay 2

TuneIn Radio seems to have lost BBC radio stations?

It's not a BluOS problem. Broadcasters decide to opt in their streams to TuneIn. So BBC decided to opt out. Remember Classic FM (UK) was once also on TuneIn, then they too opted out. A workaround is to add a URL, depending on the platform e.g. HEOS enables this. Haven't tried it though.

Question New CD Player next week, can’t decide?

I was going to say, that buying a used CD player is always a risk because of the laws of wear and tear. Once a laser or belt wears out, it means a new CD player. Unlike a turntable where many parts are consumable. So I think you made the right choice buying new. Now do tell us how the CD60 sounds?
