    Marantz TT15S1 at reduced price!

Just send him an email (use the company email) and ask him. I've never had problems with him and my TT15 and UD5007 were delivered a few days later. And I even bought that equipement just based on emails.

    Marantz TT15S1 at reduced price!

Have you heard the TT15 play? I think you would pay the 1.5k after hearing it and comparing it to other turntables in the same prince range.

    Marantz TT15S1 at reduced price!

I think the TT15S1 is a real gem and performs well above it's price. Btw, I bought mine at a Dutch shop too, HC hifi. And Cover Company makes acryl dustcovers that fit the TT perfectly. I think I have the "cover 3"

Have you tried disconnecting the main cable? Maybe it's just a bad connection, or the cable is faulty.

    UPGRADE HOME-CINEMA-IN-A-BOX (OR NOT?)

Don't expect too much difference if you keep the Samsung HTIB speakers...

    UPGRADE HOME-CINEMA-IN-A-BOX (OR NOT?)

Get a Philips HTL9100 and a new Blu-ray player and you're done. Nice and tidy when you use it as a soundbar, but with real surround and HD-audio decoding (and 3d pass trough etc) when you disconnect the side speakers from the bar and place them behind you. Sounds good too.

Has some one already said the site is even slower than it was before?

    Welcome to the new whathifi.com!

Terrible layout!! I've never seen a more cluttered website before! And I know you guys need sponsors to keep things going, but this is really over the top. What (hifi sound and vision) were you thinking?

    Warm airy musical speakers?

Have a listen to Boston Acoustic's M25 speakers if you can. They have a very wide and open sound, but don't have that pitching high sound of most speakers today. They do need a sub to cover the whole frequency range. Or, if you have room for them, the M350.

Is NAD C375BEE too much overkill?

And less powerfull amps kill speakers way faster than powerful amps. Clipping is what kills speakers 99% of the time. Burnt voice coils because of too powerfull amps can happen too but it's much mure unlikely.

Is NAD C375BEE too much overkill?

The 275Bee is a great amp that matches most speakers very nicely. It puts out almost 180watt/channel (if you check the measurements of real test magazines, so not what hifi) and is very dynamic. Build quality is great too and the remote can handle most NAD equipement. The only draw back I've...

When does an old cartridge start damaging the vinyl?

If possible, take the tip off the cartridge and have a good look at it through a magnifying glass. But remember, some tips are rounded, others are pointed,... Check what the tip should look likefirst, and if there are any irregularities, replace it.
