I'm loving it. The only issue I have is the bright acoustics of my bedroom don't do wonders for the Yamaha.

^ Songkick is great. I think another option is to join mailing lists of nearby venues. Instead of individual artists. This way you get updated on a range of dates for various artists without the dissapointment when you see your favourite band has no dates nearby :'(

Snap! I have the exact same setup, except I have the Pro-ject geni 1.3 instead. I find with the QED 3.5mm cable, the jack is a bit shorter than usual so it comes out of the socket easily? However this didn't happen when bought it so maybe I've done something to it. I've got the speakers at...
