I remember that case and conclusion was that it is a fault, something with electronics, somebody from forum took it for repair and than it was OK.

I think that the most upgrade for music you will have if you add stereo amp to your setup, everything else will be slightly better for music and slightly better for movies, with pioneer amp even much better for movies and that is not what you want to achieve. With stereo amps goes also...
