squirt it into the headphone socket on the amp? Is this a solution to fix the socket or generally clean the inside of the amp? i don't have any headphones with a 6.3mm jack to work it in.

so far so good in the CD input...havnt had a chance to really test it for an extended period of time but had it on for 20/30 mins today and no issues, whereas yesterday it was happening within 5/10 minutes. Do you think the amp might need servicing? I live in London, any recommendations?
