Well, it wasn't my intention to do that, I was just acknowledging what I'd done.

:-) I am perfectly aware that I'm coming in here, asking questions of people who know, and then dismissing the answers :-) But .. a mild challenge sometimes gets a way through :-)

Hi I've an NAD 3020, a Sansui SR222 deck and some old Kef Codas I think they are. What's my next step in secondhand old hifi to make it beefy enough to drive a party. (Sorry if it's a tad off topic, but I'm looking for step one in an iterative path to hifi nirvana.) All the best J
