I have just taken delivery of the Oppo 93 and Im well pleased. Even with the basic settings. £599 delivered free and BD Multi Region. Quite heavy as well.

How come you have the Oppo 95......it is not out yet and wont be till end of May. As an aside I took delivery last night of the Oppo 93. First thing I noticed, it is quite heavy for a BD player. This to me means quality. Just connected it up with the basic settings and WOW. Sharper...

Is this thread not unlike the situation, whereby when you take possestion of a new car you dont drive it at 80 mph and slam the brakes on,you take it easy for a while. Also I leave my stuff on standby all the time so its constantly ready for action, and warmed up.

The mod kits have been delayed for 3-4 weeks, so you will have to wait, (like me) for another month or so before reviews start coming in. I doubt very much if they would impact on the 0PP0 93,s capabilities in any way.

RobinKidderminster: One in each ear ofcourse ! Thanks jarra My QED cable fitted a treat - so much better than bare wires. (I find QED cable stays in the ears better than 30A mains) I am a bit naughty at times.
