Buying a new amp (best phono stage?) for MA Bronze BX2

Is it feasible to expect to build a separates system that will sound as good as and integrated for the 300 quid (ish) budget? Of the pre amp and the power amp what will affect the sound the most? If I do build a good combo is it worth spending more than I did on the speakers? I'm just...

Buying a new amp (best phono stage?) for MA Bronze BX2

What about a separate power and pre amp actually? https://www.hifix.co.uk/audiolab-mpwr-power-amplifier?gclid=Cj0KEQjw2_23BRDb_qbvzK3X8M8BEiQAg87AF5sCfrQtGGGJ5HVtXSLl_7x5WcCN558-ftUXowgRXpoaAgXJ8P8HAQ

Buying a new amp (best phono stage?) for MA Bronze BX2

Hi all, So I bought a Creek CAS4040s1 a few months ago, unfortunately one of the volume pots was damaged and the volume tends to jump between nothing and full blast unless you find the perfect sweet spot on the dial. Apart from this the DIN sockets are a pain and it looks a bit battered...

A mix of old and new for a reasonable price?

Thanks JM, I enjoy a bit of research and some well informed shopping! Looking at it the Monitor Audio BX2 there doesnt seem to be much difference between this and the Bronze 2. I'll go for these I think, according to internet land they are very similar and the price is really good at £150.

A mix of old and new for a reasonable price?

Thanks JM some handy hints there. In terms of sound I like a fairly wide stage, detailed mids but also a well rounded bass sound for some of the more doomy metal/rock I listen to (I may be asking a bit much for a low budget I think). The room is 3.8m by 3.3m with a fairly high ceiling...

A mix of old and new for a reasonable price?

Hi all, I'm kind of new to all this HiFi stuff but I'm fairly techy and have an idea of what I want so please bear with me! So, the Mrs wanted to buy an all in one record player as she is a hipster, I have a fair few bits of vinyl that I haven't listened to for years and was quite happy with...
