    Desktop speakers for PC

    Can anyone recommend a pair of desktop speakers for my daughter's PC? I want a pair which will take a signal from a USB port. I've looked at the KEF "Eggs" which seem ideal but cost more than I want to spend. Is there a cheaper option?

    Hi-fi racks

    Am I really going to hear a noticeable difference in sound quality if I mount my hi-fi on a £500 rack from a specialist rather than a £50 rack from Homebase or Ikea? What are your recommendations?
