Hi folks Am after a bit of advice. I have all my cd's ripped and converted to wma 9.2 and stored on a usb flash drive so they can be played in my car. Now I have found just about every track skips,and not in the same place when played back!? Could the problem be with the codec...is it worth...

Oh yes....R-sport 180 diesel which is the spec I'll be going for.fantastic ride,very responsive and the zf auto is faultless.. Although I will be looking at the manual option. The feel of the car is pure sports quality..but no cd player... Apparently it's all to do with appealing to the younger...

I contacted meridian yesterday and as they don't supply the head unit he couldn't offer any more info. the headphone jack may be viable,but all I know is that the phone can play hi res although I guess it's down to the receivers caperbility. Thanks Andy,hopefully your contacts can shed more...

Hi guys I have flac files stored on my Sony experia z3. I'm about to buy a jag xe with the meridian audio..380w. The system does not have a cd,...connectivity is via USB..upto 320kbs or Bluetooth streaming. Can someone enlighten me to whether my flac folders can be used.. Or if there is any...

That's the thing...I couldn't see any bass speakers,just 4 banks on a suspended rig. Wish I knew beforehand how it was going to sound...I wouldn't have gone. As we were about 2meters behind the vip seats I didn't anticipate this problem.

Hi folks In saw the ausiefloyd last night at an arena in Leeds. Band were excellent but what ruined it for me was the overblown bass...it just wasn't tight...rather than a first thumping sonic boom through my chest it was like muddled thud.... Was this a sound mixing issue or could it be down...

I'm planning on upgrading my sub at some point.was just wondering if I was loosing Sq because bass frequencies are being sent to my avr via Lfe as opposed to going into my intergated stereo amp?

Hi Folks I'm listening to stereo music via my two Kef 100's set to small and my Kef ht sub fed via Lfe. Question is how much quality am I comprising on compared to line connections? Thanks

Worth considering the Kef R100 bookshelf speakers,i have an MF M3i running a pair and the control is superb.

My advice would be to have a listen to your selections at your local av store,also many are offering some great deals on system packages which if you push them would inc speaker cable(you will need HDMI lead/s as well remember) so your choices should be based on what you like the sound of best...
