On the subject of new cartridges, anyone have any experience with the Clearaudio products? Their Performer V2 MM looks like a good cartridge at a good price.
Hi Al ears, cheers for the reply. Had a Brio R before and some Tannoy V4s and yeah the sound was good. Stylus could probably do with a proper clean but it's free of any visible fluff/build up and as far as I'm aware everyhting is connected correctly (he says while rushing home to double check!)...
Afternoon,
As the title says I'm a little underwhelmed by the sound coming from my Rega RP3 at the minute. I have had it a while now and I've modified it slightly over time and currently it has the white band, a new subplatter from Gus and the rega TT PSU upgrade. The cartridge I'm using is a...
Cheers Bluedroog. I would definitely have arranged a few demos and hopefully I'd be able to take my amp in with me too. Obviously a home demo would be preferable but cant see many of the shops near me going for it. That's one tick for the DAC anyway.

Afternoon,
Just to jump on the back of this post, i'm looking to buy an RP3 this weekend to go with my Brio R purchased last weekend but I have an issue in that the phono leads are only 1m long. My TT will be at least 2m from the amp. The shop owner has suggested I use an adaptor and another...
Afternoon,
I am looking at upgrading my AV amp and am currently thinking of the Yamaha or the Onkyo. Got a budget of about £500. Haven't seen any reviews of the RXV673 but read the 5* review of it's predecessor and read some pretty good reviews of the Onkyo, though have also read that the...
