Thanks for this, I've been keen for more information too! I was going to go for the irDAC and just run an Apple Airport Express into it over optical rather than buy the airDAC. That way you get loads of extra input options and a remote for just £79 more!

I'm confused, are you trying to use Airfoil with the Airport Express you used to or with the Martanz's AirPlay? I suspect Airfoil is going to pretty much only work well with Apple branded AirPlay products...

I wasn't going to use the A19 as a dedicated pre amp, I'd use it to run the HF input and then run the P38 for the LF input. Crossover would be in the speaker.

I thought B&O stuff had a proprietary connector so that you had to use their speakers?
