To answer my own question: I knew about AptX Low Latency products and opted for the RIVA Turbo X. It suited my needs. (Well, I would buy an AptX HD speaker, but there's none in the market). Video (Sound) Latency: Probably none at all, I adjusted MX player ever so slightly but that's just my OCD...

Hi Are bluetooth speakers/headphones unsuitable for watching video? Is audio lag inevitable? If so, is it at least fixable by messing with the video player's audio sync settings?

That's excellent advice John This being 2016, I'm surprised the Accoustics BT-3 did not win any WHAT-HiFi awards.

@tino Thanks for the reply. However, it is more like a soundbar, while I'm looking for separate speakers, so that I can have a better stereo experience.

Thanks for the reply BenLaw I am actually not an Apple fan. i would never buy into their ecosystem. It is Android and Bluetooth that interests me. I have emailed Panasonic asking which version of Bluetooth does that system support. I have started a thread with all of this for any one else...

Hi I'm in the market for such a system, particularly regarding bluetooth connectivity (latest spec and all). There a few systems but rarely do they mention the Bluetooth spec they support.
