Uh Steve..the voice of reason, came in too late I am afraid. Also, can't return, the new turntable was love at first listen *man_in_love*
Also I think my dealer sold off my AV receiver in an hour....wish I had that kind of connection!!!
That's what my wife said when she could sense I am planning to spend extra money....but if I were that sensible....wouldn't be snooping around this forum now would I?
For quite a while now, I have been realizing that I don't get to make the best use of my AV setup. The primary reason is that I live in apartment building with very fussy neighbours. When the sub kicks in with a full impact during a movie, I tend to get angry phone calls over intercom. Also...
So one of the R500s started showing some problems with one of the drivers. The sound was cracking up. I moved about a year back and I think the speakers went through a rough ride. So my audio dealer had it fixed for me but it kinda started sounding very boomy...I have relatively small listening...
Hey guys, thanks for all the suggestions..I took the stylus out and cleaned it for a while with those stylus brushes you get...actually had it fixed a few days ago.

I have been using a bluetooth receiver (Arcam rBlink) but can't say I am very impressed. Maybe its just in my head...
Heart says, another new gadget, go for it, credit card will take care of itself.
Brain Says, you already have a CD player. Walking over to the HiFi rack, you burn a few more calories, so get off your lazy a$$.
Recenlty my laziness has gotten the better of me and I have been exploring the options of not getting out of the couch to change CDs. What I have right now are around close to 500 CDs and a Synology NAS. I am looking for a cost effective streaming solution without breaking the bank. The primary...
