Thanks, thought as much - a bit pricey the options available, and I have an internal DAC already and an old CA DacMagic 100, so I think a third DAC would be excessive especially as I wanted to box down my equipment.

I had a similar issue, not with the same gear. Turned out switching the amp on first, then source then DAC resolved the issue.
