    Compact speaker amp?

Correct, it was a mistake =P A headphone output won't be necessary, I'll use headphones with other gear.

    Compact speaker amp?

Hi all, So yeah, I'm after a small hifi amp to drive my Wharfedale 9.1s in my computer audio rig. I'm currently using an Arcam Alpha 8, but I have recently got a new job and will most likely be moving from home to a rented room closer to work, so space is going to be a lot more scarce. Being...

Best On-Ear Headphones for Music Production for a student budget

I'd look into the Superlux HD668B. They're big and ugly, but extremely accurate, erring slightly towards brightness, and have detail retreival I haven't heard in much else short of the ATH Mt0s. They come in at about £30. I can't imagine that a low end pair of noise cancellers will be...

Looking for a budget desktop system, £150-£200. Suggestions?

Size isn't an issue really, as long as they fit on a desk I'm fine! What would you recommend in terms of driving them? I'm willing to spend a bit extra if needs be. I also need some help in terms of cabling, I really don't know the first thing about speakers =P

Thanks for the suggestions guys! A sub isn't essential, I just wasn't sure of what's achievable in this price range. I've found a pair of Wharfdale Diamond 9.1 for £100, what are your thoughts? I haven't read a bad word about them so far.

Looking for a budget desktop system, £150-£200. Suggestions?

Hi all, So yeah, pretty much what the title says. I'm first and foremost a headphone listener and have just spent most of my annual income for the year on a set of custom IEMs and a portable source/amp capable of doing them justice. However I spend a lot of time at my desk and sometimes would...
