Yes, it's heavier and has the ability to top mount cartridges. However, I've already got this one and invested into it so it'll have to do for now. But certainly an upgrade idea for down the road.

Yeah I asked on vinylengine and one guy said the base of the tonearm might have shifted a bit to the right when moving it and the needle isn't hitting the runout groove.

Well I figured I would get that upgrade just in case. What preamps do you recommend in that range?

Ah ok that makes sense. It does sound great though. Hopefully the new amp will make it sound even better.

The dealer who installed it said he completed a compliancy test on it and it measured at 12 htz, which he said was on the border of where it needs to be (or in that green zone).
