Hi All, Was researching into new amps and was wondering if the C356BEE would be able to handle two sets of 6 ohm speakers? I'm slightly confused as the back of the amp states 8ohm minimum with 2 pairs, but was wondering whether this is for when they are both turned on? I'll only ever have one...

That's what worries me - i've tried to ensure there's no crossover happening inside the QED device by insulating the gaps between the soldered connections. Is there an alternative speaker selector switch that i could try (would have to be serial i assume)?

Would the below NAD amp work? It says minimum impedance for 2 sets is 4 ohms, but as I'll only be using 1 set at a time is that ok? (or are they wired in parrallel and it doesn't matter?)...

I should say, I never need to have both sets on at the same time - it's one or the other!
