My room is a little larger 16x19ft, and I have similar set up .....I am thinking of adding a Rel sub, and try to decide between T/5x anf T/7x .

I think that the Focal Aria Floorstanders (926-936-948) are very good at low volumes. I have the 906 bookself model,and I am very happy at low level listening.

Since you are not so experianced , and if you would like to make it simple, I highly recomend you to have an active speaker ....In that way, you will not worry about amp-speaker combination, as the combo of an active speaker with the built-in amplifiers are ideal. I think that this is the path...
