Hi, I am interested in your final sentence as I have been mulling over trying a new Dac , the problem for me is that I find it hard to get my head around how a signal from the Dac can change such things as Separation, Bass weight, sound stage etc. Surely the Dac just sends the converted signal...

I am tempted to replace my old Arcam IrDac and Blue sound Node with a Eversolo DMP A8 but there is no way to Audition one so probably won't happen even though it gets glowing reviews from every review I have seen. Cheers Kev.

Yes I was quite surprised to see the price of a new pair of P3esr when I was in Doug Brady's begining of the year when I was buying a new Amplifier. I bought a pair many years ago from Doug Brady's for £1400, sold them around 18 months ago for £850.
