Cables are already run inside the walls with speaker terminals in place.

I like the idea of 1 stereo amp though. What about the Marantz 70s?

I do intend on playing both sets at the same time occasionally. Preferable under £1k.

I've just moved into a new house and have wired speaker terminals with QED silver anniversary cable. The speakers will be in the living room and dining room. I have looked at various options but only the Marantz PM6007 has positive reviews. My only concern is that it may not be powerful enough...
