AVI ADM 9.1T speakers - 5 stars from Whathifi. Lack of bass response + drivers on slave blew up after a year, for asking price 1000 quid.

I would recommend staying away from AVI, drivers blew up for me in about 1 year, which, for the price, is unacceptable.

Personally I would stay away from actives, I had a horrible experience with (expensive) AVI speakers. Try to audition some Monitor Audios, performance/price ratio is great especially if the dealer gets you a discount (RX2 are great sounding bookshelfs, and the RX6 sounded great to my ears vs...
