Wow... £80 for a laser! Is that for just laser or the mount too? Do you know exactly which bit fails? The board looks a bog standard sharp driver board. Maybe it was in more than this unit

I have had my Denon DMD-1000 since it was first introduced back in the late 90's. Its been great! Until recently.... When I insert a disc it says "TOC Err R" and spits it back out. Its not the md and ive tried a cleaner disc. Does anybody know how I may mend it? Thanks Rik
