Can I use a replacement unregulated power supply for my dac. All the watts volts amps match but the original power supply supply was regulated DC not unregulated like me new one.

Sounds like you could help me. My external hardrive has 24 bit flac on. I plug it into my Panasonic bdt130 blu-ray player's usb. So will the Blu-ray player send the 24 bit out the optical into my Onkyo a9050 integrated amplifiers onboard dac so I get hi-res audio out me diamond 220 speakers. Thanks

tv is Panasonic tx-p50x60b. Blu-ray player is Panasonic bdt130. Amps Onkyo a9050. The external hardrive is a 250gb western digital freecom tough drive.

Will my blu-ray players or tv's optical out send 24 bit word lengths when playing back 24 bit flac from a external hardrive connected to either one's usb port. So external hardrive to tv or blu-ray player via usb. Then either one's optical out to dac. Then dac to stereo amplifier line in. Thanks

Cheers it was the plastic surround that holds the driver in place to the baffle. It's vibrating. The bolt holes are slack and don't tighten enuff

I got the diamond 220s soon as they arrived in store. And I have noticed problems. There solid and straight. And they sound excellent well balanced to.

Try audition the onkyo a9050. You will like the sound very clean n clear and dynamic. Digital connections to. Phono moving magnet. Steal at £279 new. Somewhere I see online. All customers reviews I have seen love this gem.

Any idea what's coursing one of my new diamond 220 speaker to distort and do like a deep echo like rattle when playing certain songs that have a deep stringed echo bass line in. I changed around the speakers and it does not happen on the other speaker. Only two songs I noticed this problem on is...

Maybe something to do with the new motor then. Definitely going to investigate. But very happy with them. There very good speakers. Definitely better than all of the other diamonds and Q acoustics I have owned :-)

I see the video on what hifi and they had 87db on the back so I checked superfi there spec say 87db. I bought them to replace the diamond 121s and like those they say 86db on the back and in the manual. But like I say there ment to have bigger magnets to make them easier to drive and more...

Thats why I wanted advise as the manual to amp says when using speakers A and B together make sure you use speakers with a impedance of 8ohm or higher. The amp has a ohm selecter switch 4-8. So stating using speakers at 8ohm when biwired using A/B together will drop them to 4ohm so it sees 4...
