Hi, HELP.....my cd player has started to make a noise when it spins up.....sort of like a tisk...tisk..tisk.tisk noise when you place a disk into it. I'd not used it for a while and so it came as something of a surprise when it happened for the 1st time. Any idea what might be causing this...

thanks to you both..... turning vol down doesn't make a difference. I used to get a horrible sound from my old CA A1 amp when i turned it off....which would be stopped by muting prior to turning off.....but the rotel doesnt have a mute feature.....lovely sounding amp tho
