LG’s monthly payment for a TV

I can't comment on advice of AV reviewers whose business model is based on increased sale of AV equipment. What's important is individual needs. A good film / TV programme with an engrossing storyline doesn't need the attention to the tiny imperfections in picture quality. If you find yourself...

LG’s monthly payment for a TV

Yes, but TVs don't need upgrading each year. I generally keep my TVs for 10-15 years. My living room TV was replaced in 2025 after serving me for 11 years (and served you for a year before that as well). My family room TV is now 10 years old. Never gave any trouble, and I think it'll last...

LG’s monthly payment for a TV

It’s the trend of not owning anything and only renting, as companies have realised this guarantees a constant stream of income. It started with music and the death of CDs, then films with streaming replacing Blu-ray / 4K discs, then things like personal contract hire cars — and now TVs are...

This is the LT variant which is wired only between the 2 speakers. LSX II (not LT) has a fully wireless option.

    Samsung soundbar at Costco

Not sure what you mean. It's £429. Probably better to state the price rather than rely on the link to show the price that you saw.

What is a cheap, reliable and safe mobile to buy?

I had the Lumia 920. I actually liked the Windows interface, but restarting the phone took a long time, and it became very buggy. Had to get rid of it.

What is a cheap, reliable and safe mobile to buy?

Not really. Nokia phones over 10 years ago ran on Windows, but Microsoft exited the mobile OS market ages ago. Nokia got buried since then, and resurfaced under different manufacturer. The current Nokia phones are all Android.

Sony Merge With TCL interesting !

There’s some truth here, but a few things aren’t accurate. China does support some industries with subsidies, tax breaks and cheaper finance – that part is well known. This helps Chinese companies compete on price. However, China is not “taking over all industry globally”. Many sectors are...

    iPad deals at Costco

Costco is primarily a wholesale grocery store that also happens to sell electronic items like TVs. If you don't have a Costco locally, it's not for you anyway.

    iPad deals at Costco

Of course, so it clearly doesn't align with your shopping habits. For large families, bulk buying at Costco is far cheaper than shopping at Asda / Tesco / Sainsbury's / Aldi etc. For regular shoppers, they get much more value than the membership cost. Also, Costco store membership is not open...

Have you had covid of late?

In general, with all viral symptoms, these precautions should be followed. Lateral flow tests have relatively low sensitivity. So a negative result may not be reassuring.

Have you had covid of late?

Flu A is on the rise and we're seeing more flu cases in the hospital after the Christmas holiday period. We aren't seeing much covid in comparison.

Dealers - how to make a customer feel welcome (and get them to come back)

I had a great experience with Mercedes Sheffield in 2013. I was all set to buy a Jaguar XF after my test drive, but was disappointed when the salesperson said he'll get back to me in a few days with my quote including part exchange (I was ready to buy the car straightaway). While driving back, I...
