Forums didn't exist during Blockbuster days. I remember I used to ask the shopkeeper of my local video library to recommend any new films that have come in..... probably more so because you know the video quality of a new VHS tape will be pristine. 🙂

Although you could argue the greatest inventions were of things nobody thought they needed.....until they actually came to be.

There's no issue with charging modern devices overnight. Charging automatically stops when battery is fully charged. All my daily use devices are charged overnight. Been doing so for several years.

I've never felt the need to have 2 devices so that I could use one while charging the other...... except for an extra battery for my cordless lawnmower. I charge my devices when not in use, even if the charge is 30-40%.

Well, I don't work for What Hi Fi. I'm just a volunteer moderator. I have alerted the relevant admin to action. Yes, the forum and the website are a bit different. The admins manage a large number of different forums under the Future Group.

That's a sweeping generalisation. It won't necessarily be better as the set up with 2 active speakers will lack a dedicated centre channel. Plus, the OP is specifically asking about Atmos support that active speakers cannot deliver. Sennheiser Ambeo Max is one of the best soundbars out there...
