Well i bought Rega Saturn cd player, Rega Elicit Amp and Phono MC together obviously :-))

It's not overheating issue, amp it's not heat and of course nothing stand over him. I believe when amp is overheated protection circuit switch him off completely, my issue is with sound cutting off. I have issues with all Rega products..i'm lucky guy

Hi Guys, my Rega Elicit-r after 10 min listening session the sound cutting out for while. I hear loudly clicking then no sound after while clicking again and sound is back on. Sometimes relay? clicking like madhouse. Any thoughts?

exactly, CD-R is basic at least should be. Yes some high end players even not supported CD-R but... come on, no CD-R playback on deck for 5000 bucks that is embarrassment.

I'ill try replacement complete new unit, i don't wanna say goodbye to Rega Player, the sound is stunning. In this price point is very hard to find player like this.

Rega officias says " Yes Rega Saturn-R plays CD-R not CD-RW, we advised burn CD media slowest speed possible". I Always burn Cd with slow speed.

I have same issue, rega does that with burned cd-r. I sended to service repair and they change pickup laser, now i have player back and no change. Same issue over and over.

Dry joint? thanks for update, i didn't know how translate it :-) Even when i have doubts about phono preamp faulty he was sure. Few moments ago right channel cut off again, i touch gently power button and channel was back. i'm More confident about faulty preamp :-)
