PMC twenty 21 or Kef LS50 for my system and music...

In my view they are pretty allround, maybe with the exception of heavy metal. But then again, very few speakers do heavy metal really well. They have nice synergy with Rega too. You should find a dealer easily to audition these speakers.

i liked very much my audiotechnica ath es 55 but i look for a new headphone

Bright with bass is right up the ally of Beyerdynamic.*biggrin* If you want strong bass I believe the DT 990 will suit you even better than the more balanced sound of the DT 880.

    Headphone amps

Rega makes fine products, but their headphone amps aren't very special imo. Other brands offer a lot more bang for the buck. This German webshop f.i. sells excellent and affordable HP amps: http://www.meier-audio.homepage.t-online.de/ I have bought two Meier Corda amps (one portable and one...

Speakers matching with Naim Nait 5i in my room

I have a Nait 5i (non italic) and a pair of KEF LS50 speakers. I listen to the kind of music you describe and like it a lot. It shouldn't be difficult to audition these speakers with your amp.

    Sennheiser HD800/Beyerdynamic T1

Don't buy such expensive headphones if you don't have a great source and great amplification. I'd advise you to check out the Beyerdynamic T90 or the Hifiman HE-400i. These are excellent headphones that are great for gaming and sound nice with less expensive components too.

Solely on Sound GRADO SR325e or Beyerdynamic T51i? Help Needed..

For indoor use I would keep the Grados. As great as the Beyers are, the Grado headphone you have is superior in SQ and quite comfortable compared to the older Grados.

On the go headphones for classical music?

I would suggest the Shure SRH-840 or even the 940 for you. They sound very much the way you want and they block noises out fairly well imo. If you'd like something more compact I can recommend the Beyerdynamic DT1350 or DT51P.

    nuforce icon as dac amp

The Nuforce Icon is a well regarded amp/dac combo that offers lots of bang for the buck. I haven't heard a pair of B&W P7 headphones, but I would still recommend the Nuforce as it's powerful and pretty neutral sounding. It won't change the sound signature of your headphones, only make the strong...

    600-700 € Budget Hi-Fi Set

Upgrade-itis. I heard/read a lot of buzz about the KEF LS 50 and got a bit excited. Generally there wasn't much wrong with the sound of the B&W 685, but I wanted a little more neutrality and I also felt that my set (Naim components) deserved an even better pair of speakers to get the...

    600-700 € Budget Hi-Fi Set

Speakers are a very personal preference. And there is a lot of choice nowadays. :) I actually have a spare pair of B&W 685 speakers that I haven't used for the better part of a year since I made an upgrade to the KEF LS 50. I don't know where you're from in Belgium but I would gladly let you...

    600-700 € Budget Hi-Fi Set

Hello fellow countryman! With this kind of budget I believe it would be wiser to buy second hand. Especially for speakers you can gain a lot of quality if you do that. If you want HDMI inputs/outputs you'd have to buy an AV amp or surround receiver. This site has the best prices and the...

Stereo sound improvements for my system

For £800 I think the Roksan Kandy K2 might fit the bill for you. Audition first if possible of course.

Stereo sound improvements for my system

What do you feel is lacking with regards to the soundquality of your current system? Do you have a budget in mind? My first impression would be that your speakers might deserve a good stereo amplifier to get the best out of them. A CD-player would also improve the sound imo. Nothing wrong with...
