You're talking the original A1, right? Because if I remember well MF came up with a newer version 7-8...
I like the higher models from Pioneer but I wouldn't spend that much money on a model which is in terms of features yesterday's news. Maybe (a big maybe!) the lx56 will sound better but that wouldn't compensate the advantges of purchasing a new machine (warranty for example)
