ok all just thought i would post and close out my own question with the findings.... i tested the cr610 with all manner of speakers including some floorstanders ..dali zensor 5 and ma bx5 all the usual bookshelf suspects too ie ma rx1,qa concept 20,b&w 685,and the best by far is the new dali...

hello all just back from guildford and tested the m-cr610 AND the nad 7050 with the following speakers qa concept 20 ma rx1 b&w 685 have to say you cant go wrong with either amp and the nad is the smoother / better sounding but at twice the price the difference is not worth it both amps...

ok all thankyou very much but its time to jump in ...demo room booked at guildford sevenoaks hifi for thursday at 1030. m-cr610 and qa 2050i to start then trying others ..taking me own music and will let you know....regards...anis

thanks to all for posting im reading every day its a learn curve..i will demo before purchasing thanks...it would be good to get m-cr610 owners on this with their setups and opinions ....i wonder what speakers the whf team used for the test??

may have to rethink and go back to looking at the cyrus 6 dac instead ,im just looking for a good sound with loads of connectivity that can drive a pair of floorstanders playing rap/dance music oh and it must come in at under £1500..might look at the nad 7050 too
