my room is about the same size as yours and i get really good bass from my rel t5i and Kef R3`s but i am using a lyngdorf 1120 amp with room correction.

all about choice if you like cd`s buy cd`s if you like records buy those if you stream then enjoy. I use all three to be honest and the one i dislike the most is streamimg only because i like to own the physical music be it cd or record. everyone to there own just enjoy your music.

have a single rel sub in my setup and it certainly enhances my system so my opinion is get one.

Had my AT vm540ml on since march 2021 and still sounds good to me, as for how many hours it has on it i have no clue as sometimes i play a couple of albums a week then nothing for a month or so. Andy

i would go with audio technica or the goldring you suggested, I personally use the at vm540ml on my p3 and it sounds great.
