Spoken to superfi and they wont refund me which is very disappoinitng they can only offer a credit note frustrating as the onkyo i was looking at was not listed.
They have however offered to do a sound test demo in there booth on the amp see whats going on next week as im on vacation for a week...
Hi guys, so i took the sub for a few days but i was still unimpressed with it.
Dunno if its me the amp or my settings but i am slowly falling out of love with it.
Im considering returning it to the store and getting an exchange for it.
prob gonna return to onkyo to hopefully everything will...
That was my thoughts in the first place, that you may well not like the balance of sound compared to your Onkyo. Its your ears, go with what you feel comfortable listening to.
Well ive not had a sub before so i guess with me getting to test one for a few days ive nothing to lose and everything...
I have read something into this but not sure if its on my unit or if it's even selected. It could be default?

Hello's guys.
Firstly i would like to thank everybody for the input over the last week regards my issue means alot.
I have now tried all suggestions and still unable to get the same level of base i got from my onkyo which is strange, its not a pigment of my imiignation with have the same setup...
Ive just not had the time to single wire this atm, also lacking the link plates or spare wire so will need to visit the loft to see if i can find anything suitable.
But trust me it was there in the first place and was of a decent level, ive literally plug everything bit by bit from the onkyo to...
Ok if i locate some wire does it need to be speaker cable?
I understand i have to link the back of the speaker together via link plate or wire, what about the back of the amp? do i need to remove the rear surround the second part of the bi-amp? and just leave the front L+R connected?
Just a little update got a few mins to play about and go back through settings etc.
I disabled the read and centre speakers and kept only the fronts i switched from bi-amp to front B this allowed me to control my front speakers in 3 modes A , B, A+B.
A was quiet beefy but obviously still...

this is my cabling, lost a plug over time on one of the speakers and never did the centre.
Not sure if this shows anything.
Bit difficult to try the tests atm with late work finishes and baby early bed time.
I will try the checks tonight to be sure, the film was on netflicks via ps4.
I built the original system bit by bit, amp plus 2 fronts then added rear and finally centre, the sub was gonna be the last piece but as the setup provided a suitable level of bass there wasnt a need to add one...
Morning guys, Im still not got any improvement although ive not got round to trying all the ideas that have been posted so far as short for time and we had some rare sunshine yesterday so took advantage of it hopefully try it tonight.
I did this morning try switching the two reds and two blacks...
