I have some hearing loss in the high frequency, so I like equipment with a good treble sound, like you do. I have a Yamaha R-S202 that sounds great to me. I also have an older NAD receiver which sounds great too, but it only had jacks for 2 speakers. I don't think you would be disappointed...

I really like the NAD, too. It's small and simple, but it sounds way bigger than it looks. I wish there was a way I could compare the sounds of the receivers head to head without having to disconnect and reconnect everything.
