Here is the first response I know of by the BBC that gives an idea of the direction home cinema will take. The games industry have their time now and I suspect they will make significant changes to the industry as a whole directly or indirectly over the next few years.

Entertainment obviously is changing with gaming - just a pity that Activision isn't the most revered games company (their Quantum of Solice game may be played more than the movie is watched - but it's still pretty average).
