I think it's made a difference to the separation, there also seems to be a touch more 'rhythm'.

Tricky word to spell that one. Anyway 42nd time lucky.

No, I don't think so.

No doubt I've given the non-believers enough for them to rub their hands in glee for another round of 'stupid idiot, my Van Damme's/SHBs are all you'll ever need' comments.

I think I'll make about a hundred on the swap too, Heimdall RCA to XLR.

I only go for Nordost these days Warren, they really work for me.

I've got a warm CDP and warm speakers so probably it works as a package.

No need to change if you know they work for you. Pleasing to hear that the balanced cables have given you a smidge more to your sound - I was expecting as much.
