Wire Free HD signal

I have just installed an LED Samsung TV on my Living Room wall with all (or almost al) cables in a conduit direct to the TV. This conduit, however, is already packed and cannot take an HDMI cable for HD transmissions. I have heard of wire-free signals; can you please advise on make/model and, most of all, are they effective?

To date, such systems are integrated into TVs, so would mean changing your new Samsung for a dedicated wireless model.
