Has anyone been watching the tennis via BBC HD on Sky? What is the picture quality like for you?. My 37PX80 is a bit smeary on the ball movement, but given how fast the balls move I was wondering if any plasma/lcd can actually handle them perfectly.
I have just bought a Panny LCD and am enjoying Wimbledon immensely but like you suffer from slightly smeary balls syndrome. Think this has something to do with the power of Venus and Serena!...the Euro-Footie was superb.
Lets wait and see if it can track some balls in a major golf tourney!!!!
Mrs E is watching Williams vs Williams on Sky HD at the mo via our elderly 50in Fujitsu, and I just spent a little while studying the picture closely.
it looks just fab. Smooth motion, great colours and very sharp indeed.
Having just watch final (and fuzzy) qualifying for tomorrow's Grand Prix on ITV, all I can say is 'roll on BBC F1 in HD next year'. Here's hoping, huh?
The picture quality of ITV is a disgrace for such a major channel. Instead of paying Ant and Dec squillions for their limp humour, or the endless telephone quiz questions that seem to infect most of their programs they should address the quality of signal that their customers have to put up with.
Did anyone see that shot Nenad Zimonjic made in the first point of the last game of the Men's Doubles? That was astonishing!! He really was on fire in that game and I was fortunate enough to see the end on BBC HD at my friend's who has Sky HD... roll on Freesat PVRs so I can enjoy that picture at my place!
