The TV would be fine.

However, given the size of the room could you certainly get away with bigger, just depends if your budget allows for it.

Have you considered a projector at all?? (In conjunction with a TV for regular viewing)

I have thought of one yes. but not knowing too much, would the projector be for films only? I have sky +, watch lots of sport, Blue ray will be soon, can all this go through proj, What kind would i be wanting to be looking at?

My mind is whizzing now

a 50 or 60 inch pioneer kuro krp would be perfect for you , a kuro is better suited to a dimly lit room , sd performance is brilliant , hd is the best of all , unless you opt for a projector ( which i know nothing about ) , a kuro is perfect in my opinion ...

It can all go through a projector (usually via a Surround amp) but generally it would not be ideal for watching in light conditions (i.e during the day).

I find that it is good to have a TV for general viewing and a projector for films or watching the footie as it has a more impressive feel. However, what you think would be best is down to you.

As far as what you should be looking at it depends on your budget. You would also need to factor in a decent screen as well. You could start the research HERE

If you're an avid sports fan, I would say that your new TV will deserve an upgrade to Sky+HD. The cricket picture quality at the moment is outstanding.

You are referring to the womens 20/20 of course.
