Will my UK-purchased Sony LCD TV work in Switzerland?

I recently bought a Sony KDL 37P3020 in UK. I now find that I may be moving to Switzerland in 6 months. Should I take it with me - or sell it and purchase in Switzerland?

(I thought that the obvious people to ask would be Sony who make TVs for the UK and Swiss market. But the very friendly girl on the Sony helpline explained that it wasn't Sony policy to advise me of that. Don't understand!)

Switzerland has various digital providers. Your television will do fine but you will almost certainly need a local receiver box depending on supplier.

the minimum you will have to do is tell the TV where you are now and what language you want the menu in and then hit auto set up sorted.

that is all i did with my UK bought and used Sammy LCD and the menu on my Swedish bought Sony is similar.

re the built in digi box (if there is one) Sorry no idea.
