I'm enjoying Star Trek - Strange New Worlds.
Anson Mount - Best Captain. Love young Spock also.

Jason Issacs as Captain very dark, my second choice.

My apologies if I missed out your favourite from the list.

Being bought up on TOS then William Shatner (Kirk) has to be the favourite, however the most competent is Patrick Stuart (Jean-Luc) as he is more by the rule type of guy.
Not really impressed with any of the new series, although Strange New Worlds is watchable.

To be honest. I never saw all of Voyager I haven't watched any Star Trek shows since Voyage apart from the three Amazon Picard series. My favourite is Benjamin Sisko especially when the Dominion story arc unfolded

Many years ago, I was in the queue at the Concorde check-in. I say queue, there was only one person in front of me; Captain Kirk. Cheeky B wasn't even flying on Concorde, but Business Class on another flight. He did turn around and apologise after he had checked in, as indeed did the check-in attendant.

Love Star Trek.

Favourite captain is Picard but favourite series is DS9.

Love all Star Trek really apart from Discovery (from season 3). Perhaps, like TOS it's ahead of its time and we will appreciate all the crying/emotional scenes in 10 years time.

I tend to rewatch stuff when in the Kitchen. It needs to be a program I m familiar with so I don't get too distracted and burn stuff! At the moment I am working my way through DS9.

It does carry quite a few threads, so the story lines can vary without seeming too random and disconnected.

Same here.

DS9 is an oddball as it didn't follow Gene Rodenberry's vision of star trek of a future that was primarily positive and bright, it instead was very dark and depressing at times, but looking at things today it is probably a more realistic future.
It was also the only one stuck on a space station rather than a ship exploring the universe, still a great series though, however Babylon 5 was on at the same time, which was also based on a space station (Although the budget was small compared to Star Trek), and I preferred it over DS9, after having said that I have watched both series quite a few times since they were originally broadcast, and always enjoy them.

Babylon 5 one of my favourite sci-fi shows of all time. Although to be fair I watched the pilot "The Gathering" and thought how boring and predictable, so I didn't watch anymore until part way through season 2 and then thought "what have I missed" About 15 years ago I bought, Babylon 5 The Ultimate Collection on DVD. It's got all 5 series all the feature length episodes (River of Souls, In the Beginning, Third Space, etc) A Call To Arms (the pilot for Crusade) The one series of Crusade they made before it was cancelled.
